Ok so I'd like some input on the upcoming Hurricane Relief Fundraiser:
It will be Saturday, October 1st. The gametime is 6:00, so I'm thinking we will hold it from around 3:00 up until gametime.
1. Is 3:00 a good start time? That gives us about 3 hours to sell burgers. Is that too much, not enough, or about right?
2. Publicity- What should we do for publicity and how should we do it?? We have a good many volunteers so that won't be a problem. Thoughts and Suggestions?
3. Food/Drinks- Should we just do burgers and keep it simple or should we offer burgers, dogs, and maybe even chicken? Basically the question comes down to: Will we make enough extra money by offering more to offset the fact that it will be more difficult and take more prep to offer a variety of meats and foods? Should we offer canned drinks too, or just food? Chips? Cookies? Potato Salad? Beans?
4. Cost- Should we charge one fixed price for EVERYTHING? Should we charge individually like X dollars for a burger, Y dollars for a drink, Z dollars for chips, etc.? Should we not charge anything and make it simply a donation (keep in mind that some people may not give anything, but many will probably give more then we would actually charge).
Ok, I welcome your feedback... |
